red, white & blue

So, my 2nd favorite holiday has come and gone. (Luckily we still have Days of 47 to look forward to!) We've decided to make Sandy City our new family tradition. For the past couple of years we've gone early to get front and center lawn spots for the shows and they never disappoint! The music is always great and the fire works are awesome.
And a special thanks to my Mom for all the great pictures. I did take my camera but, her pics are always way better. So, if you're a follower of her blog, these may be repetitive.

Me, Chloe, Sophie, and Mom (we missed you Haley and Elliott!)

Me and Miss Libb-erty! I had a slight panic attack right before we left because I couldn't find Libby's dress. I'd been so excited to put her in it and if it went missing, I'd just DIE! All the cute kids in their red, white, and blue is one of the reasons I love this holiday so much.

Don't worry....Jared found it! (hanging in her closet - oops.)

Lathering up. :)

If you remember last years post, you'll recall Libby's love of Salt Water Taffy. I think she ate 12. Not because of me but, because that smiling Grandpa pictured above kept sneakin' them to her.

When a float went by that Libby liked she'd point and say "Wow Mama!!") So cute.

One of my bestie's Kady and her baby, Jakson. Fun Fact: Libby and Jaks share the same birthday, August 31st.
She's eyeballing his treat. Hahaha.

And here's a shot of the fun entertainment I mentioned. There was a cute little blue grass band before these guys, BYU Vocal Point. They were awesome!!!

Hope everyone had a fabulous 4th! We sure did. Thanks to all those who serve!

PS Jared, if you're reading this, there is no picture of you because you insist on making silly faces and ruining potentially cute family pictures. So, for our next photo-op, don't do that, and you'll make the blog. Love ya. Thanks for your service! :)

We need to do stuff like this! We're always looking for things to do and that looks like a bunch of fun! We watched Thanksgiving Point Fireworks this year and they weren't great :(
