Ever since I can remember, on Easter morning, we woke up early, searched the house for hidden baskets, and didn't touch anything until the jammie/basket picture on the couch was taken. I would like to keep up this tradition however, Daddy put Libbs to bed in her clothes the night before (we were out late and in his defense, her jeans are as comfy as jammies) so, it seemed silly to make her change just for the picture. Only to then change again into her Easter dress. Though I did contemplate it.
"Good smile Libby but, lets try again after we fix the poor baby."
"Okay...I guess we won't get that lucky twice."
Jared's family tradition has always been to get all dressed up and eat the Easter Brunch at The Little America. The great thing about this hotel is they have fabulous bathrooms with comfy chairs for nursing mamas. You have to think about these things when you have a newborn.
After Little America we headed to my Aunt Spring's house to spend time with my side of the family. There were good treats, a nice devotional, and of course, a cousin egg hunt. Libby got enough candy to last her a life time. I've eaten all the Reese's and hid the rest.
My two little babies. It's so crazy to be a Mom of two now. And aren't they so cutie in their Easter best?
(Some pics borrowed from my Mom's blog...she's the best photographer of my children, I couldn't help it.)

I love the pictures of your two babies on the couch! The first one reminds me of Sophie's first Easter, propped up in the corner of the couch too! (Go pajama pants!) xoxox
