The next night Christine and I weren't sure exactly what to do while to Kaplowitz family was at Sinague so, we decided to go box-office hopping. Shows all along Broadway were about to start so we went from box-office to box-office looking for deals on last minute ticket sales. Though we thought there was NO chance we'd get into the Katie Holmes show, seeing as it was opening weekend, we tried anyway. To our surprise, they had just TWO tickets left and were taking cash only. We grabbing the tickets and rushed into the show as the curtain was going up. The play, All My Sons, was great and of course I enjoyed Katie Holmes but, I gotta tell ya, the highlight of the night (possibly even my life) was seeing Tom Cruz, Gale King, and yes, Oprah over the balcony of Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre!!!
Me, attempting the Katie Holmes face, and laughing through it.
$$$ THE MONEY SHOT $$$
And though the sign told us not to...we waited and waited and waited for the trio to come out of that theater...they never did. 2 hours and they never came out. Oh well....still awesome.
PS Bar Mitzvah pics to come...what a party it was!!!!
